The new managers inaugurated the establishment on Wednesday for the first time since it opened in 1940. The store, notably immortalized in the cult film “Diamonds on the Sofa”, will open its doors to the public on Friday, April 28.
The goal, according to the company’s general manager, Anthony Ledru, is to offer “a unique experience to customers” with a “mixture of art, craftsmanship, heritage and lifestyle”.
In addition to the sales counters, the 10 floors include several exhibition spaces, a café run by chef Daniel Boulud and a landing reserved for VIPs.
